Winter's Angel engravingby ~gileda

This is a glass engraving of

's beautiful fractal "Winter's Angel" [link] I made this as a gift for a very close friend who is moving away.

I think the overall impression came out really well however I'm not to happy with the quality. Some of the lines are too rough or too wide. I had to leave out parts of the original image as faint background elements worked in the original but wouldn't as an engraving. I really like this piece so I'll make another sometime to try and improve.

Edit: Forgot to add any scale. This is a single flat pane of glass 18x13cm, roughly the size of a postcard.

this is absolutely gorgeous! do you do works like this to commission? i really am impressed and i would be interested to know and how much you charge for a piece like this (including postage of course!)
